Kandy Perahera

            The Kandy Perahera is held in August every year. It' also called the Dalada Perahera. It is a religious festival. Lord Buddha' s Tooth Relic is taken in procession in this Perahera. It is very beautiful and famous pageant. 

                               There are many elephants, dancers, whip crackers, drummers, and flag bearers in the perahera. 

                                                             

                                                       People young old gather in thousands to see the Kandy Perahera . I like the Kandy perahera very much. It is up Country  '' Kala Sanakeliya.''
